Ezmerelda White - It's hard to describe Donnie Darko without saying her name. That's because he lives and breathes for just her. And no matter what obstacles time has thrown at them, they have always managed to find each other. Though their bond has faded, there will always be a part of Donnie that will care for her.

Alanna Sparrow - The piratess started talking to him one night at the bar. She befriended him at his darkest days and he will be forever grateful for that.

Killing Moon - It all started with their names. And soon what was just small talk grew into a friendship. She hasn't been around, but Donnie hopes that where ever she is, she's safe and finally getting those wishes..

A Phantom- A creature of loneliness. He seemed to be the only one out of the group who fully understood what Donnie was going through when he lost Ezzy. They've only spoken a handful of times, but each one of those conversation held more guidance for Donnie than any therapy session he has ever attended. For this, Donnie looks up to him in a way, admiring how the masked one is able to embrace his darkness rather than let it consume him.
